Never Alone welcomes individuals to volunteer at Never Alone.

  • Those looking to make an ongoing commitment
  • Individuals in need of court appointed Community Service Hours
  • Youth (ages 13-18) with parental/guardian supervision
Hours of Operation:

The Food Pantry and Clothing Outreach Center are open to serve our clients Monday – Saturday from 10-2.

Ongoing Commitment:
  • We currently cannot accept any Saturday volunteers.
  • Food Pantry Volunteers:
Pantry Volunteers aid in sorting food items and stocking the shelves in the pantry. Volunteers will organize food items received, ensure freshness, and monitor quality. May also be needed to aid basic cleaning duties.
  • Food Pantry Facility Support Volunteer:
Volunteers will help with basic duties such as collecting trash, sweeping, stocking shelves, and basic cleaning duties. This is the one position that can be served
    Monday – Friday from 8:30-10:00.
  • Food Pantry Client Intake Volunteers:
Client Intake volunteers work directly with clients assisting with food selection. Volunteers should be comfortable praying with clients and need to able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Clothing Outreach Volunteers:
Volunteers greet and check-out guests, sort clothing items, hang & fold clothing, stock shelves, and inspect donations for cleanliness.

Please complete and submit the Volunteer Application Form.

Volunteers should be expected to attend a facility tour and interview prior to service.

Community Service Volunteers:

Never Alone will help facilitate those individuals who have court appointed community service hours to fulfill.  Those individuals must submit a Volunteer Application Form as well as a Community Service Form prior to service.

Our facility cannot currently accommodate community groups, community service groups, or school organizations requesting service hours.  We also are unable to assist with senior projects at this time.

Youth Volunteers:

Never Alone requires that youth be a minimum of 13 years of age to volunteer.  Youth 13-15 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. All youth under the age of 18 must have a Parental Consent and Release from Liability Form, signed by parent/legal guardian, on file with Never Alone.

We currently are not accepting group volunteers at this time.

Give Financially:

Our ministry exists because of our generous donors.  All of our expenses are paid from donations.  There are no grants, no hidden treasures, and certainly not a surplus of funds.  Stewardship is highly valued at Never Alone and we seem to stretch every dollar by using coupons and shopping sales, as well as partnering with the Atlanta Food Bank.  To make a donation today, please visit the Donate page.  We accept all credit cards, checks, and Paypal is coming soon!  Sign-up as a monthly donor or give one-time.  Whatever you can do, we appreciate it tremendously.

Give Food:

Every customer who visits the Never Alone facilities is treated with respect, dignity, and the utmost confidentiality.  The food received into our facilities is never sold -- it is given freely -- and it is given in abundance.  Sometimes we run short, but God always provides.  Maybe He will use you?  To see our Drop-Off times and see what items are accepted, please visit the Donate page.
