Who Can Volunteer?
Never Alone welcomes church groups, schools, civic organizations, scouting groups, etc., to volunteer at Never Alone.
- Those looking to make an ongoing commitment
- Individuals in need of Community Service Hours
- Youth (ages 13-18)
- Families (on Family Service Days)
- Special Event volunteers and coordinators
If your group would like to volunteer, please complete and submit our Volunteer Form. Someone from Never Along will contact you to discuss details and to ensure we can accommodate your group size.
Hours of Operation:
The Food Pantry and Clothing Outreach Center are open to serve our clients Monday – Saturday from 10-2.
- Daily Operations Volunteers:
We are looking for volunteers who can consistently serve to help us meet the needs of daily operations. Volunteers can choose to serve a 2-hour shift or a 4-hour shift.
- Food Pantry Volunteers:
Pantry Volunteers aid in sorting food items and stocking the shelves in the pantry. Volunteers will organize food items received, ensure freshness, and monitor quality. May also be needed to aid basic cleaning duties.
- Food Pantry Facility Support Volunteer:
Volunteers will help with basic duties such as collecting trash, sweeping, stocking shelves, and basic cleaning duties. This is the one position that can be served
Monday – Friday from 8:30-10:00.
- Food Pantry Client Intake Volunteers:
Client Intake volunteers work directly with clients assisting with food selection. Volunteers should be comfortable praying with clients and need to able to lift 50 lbs.
- Clothing Outreach Volunteers:
Volunteers greet and check-out guests, sort clothing items, hang & fold clothing, stock shelves, and inspect donations for cleanliness.

Community Service Volunteers:
Never Alone does allow individuals to volunteer to help fulfill community, school organization, and court appointed community service hours. A director will assign tasks based on facility needs. Please complete and submit the Community Service Form.
Never Alone requires that youth be a minimum of 13 years of age to volunteer. Youth 13-15 must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian. All youth under the age of 18 must have a Parental Consent and Release from Liability Form, signed by parent/legal guardian, on file with Never Alone.
Family Service Days:
Never Alone offers several opportunities a year for a family day of service. Helping others as a family is a great way to teach character and compassion. Check back often for scheduled dates or email email@example.com for more information.
Churches and Organizations:
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to inform us of your interest in serving at Never Alone. Please include the number of participants and desired dates and times. Someone from our staff will contact you to discuss details.
Special Event Volunteers and Coordinators:
Special Event Volunteers assist with our outreach events: Boots & Pearls Gala, Never Alone 5K, Thanksgiving Meal Distributions, Christmas for Kids, various food drives, coat and clothing drives, as well as other special events throughout the year. A variety of tasks will be needed depending on the event. Please complete and submit the Special Events Volunteer Form.
