Our Mission
Our mission is to fight hunger in our community through food assistance. We are dedicated to serving all persons regardless of race, creed, citizenship status, or gender identity, with love and dignity as we convey the encouraging message: When you encounter life’s challenges, you are “Never Alone”.
11% of Cherokee County families are food insecure equating to 33,000 individuals including children, veterans and senior.
As our county population grows it is estimated the needs will increase to 40,000 in the next 15 years.
Food insecurity leads to learning difficulties for our children, higher violent crime rates for adults, and exacerbated health issues among our seniors.
Our current location must be relocated as our lease is expiring and not renewable while maintaining our robust operation
Relocation enables us to grow to meet the county needs while innovating our operation. Lifting people up as well as meeting their immediate needs.
